WOULD YOU PREFER TO SPEND YOUR SPARE TIME DOING UP YOUR HOME?

Since 1993

If the answer is yes, then we're already on the same wavelength and I would like to help you out. I'll do this by telling you how I do up my own home in the form of how-to videos, written text and pictures.

My name's Sam by the way, it's nice to meet you. I spend a lot of time doing up my house. I have three wonderful kids and after I've put them to bed I'm usually up till the early hours on a weeknight doing up my house. As a result, I've never finished the Game of Thrones box set, I'm still on Season 1 of Vikings and I rarely watch any TV. My family, work and doing up my house forms the majority of my life, and I love it.

This site's for the dedicated DIYer. I provide no shortcuts and no quick, temporary fixes. Every bit of advice has been researched and tested fully. If I haven't done it, it's not on this website.

I've divided up my websites into:

  • How-to Guides - Step-by-step DIY tasks to show you how to do stuff, such as "How to Plasterboard a wall".
  • Spending Reports - Monthly roundup of how much I've spent on my own DIY, including estimated money saved, time spent on each project and accumulated spend on my house. This is for those of you who like to know the facts!
